Everybody is looking for the summer hit of 2012. I just made my own. Since I'm having bad dreams involving the song "Tacata", I've decided to look for some fresh songs I would like to work with to create a light and fun summer tune. I knew pretty quick that "Good time" has to be in that mashup. Unfortunately I've only had a diy acapella. As soon as I get the studio acapella, I will revisit the track.

The "Back to the future" tour stopped by in Cologne last weekend and I also got the chance to visit 1Live, the biggest German radio station, and talked with Jay-Z about mashups and all that.

This is a German documentary about the "Generation Download" including an interview with Mashup-Germany.

If you followed my work a bit longer and not just since "Top of the Pops 2011", then you know that I have a passion for slow multi-mashups.

Avicii meets Michael Buble..I've always been a big fan of Bubles "Feeling good", but never dared to play it in the club at prime time. So I was happy when I listened to "Two million" by Avicii for the first time. I thought: this could be a perfect fit for "Michael Buble goes club prime time" and started producing straight away. I also put in some "Who da funk" to fresh it up a little. Enjoy.

"Brave new world" already premiered last weekend in a slightly different version on youfm radio.
I wasn't satisfied with the first version so I've changed some bits and parts again.
This mashup really contains a lot of different messages and I've tried to recombine the vocals to create a whole new meaning.
There is one German sample in there. It says "maybe better without you". This track might needs some listens, but I hope you will get the message and the vibe.
